This questionnaire was designed to provide information on the patterns of sleep habits in order to examine the effects of sleep deprivation in students and their ability to retain information.
Study Purpose
The purpose of this study is to provide students with a survey to assess their current sleeping habits.
Surveys:
All subjects in this study will consist of individuals who are currently enrolled in school, during a week before an exam. After this assessment, follow up with another survey the next week discussing the difficulty level of memorizing and remembering the information studied, along with their final grade. The principal investigator Dr. Hammer will be the only person with access to this data.
Sleep Study:
This study will provide students with a way to assess their current sleeping habits before and after an exam.
Study Procedures
If you agree to participate in this study, we would ask you to do the following: to complete the questionnaire one week prior to an exam. Research will be conducted through a link offered to individuals. After this assessment, a follow up with another survey the next week discussing the difficulty level of memorizing and remembering information studied, as well as the final grade.
